Race numbers must be collected at race registration , which will take place at the Big Walk Expo at the College of Cape Town Crawford Campus (formerly Hewat College), cnr of Kromboom and Thomton Roads, Crawford on:
*Thur 19 Feb (17:00 - 21:00)
*Fri 20 Feb (17:00 - 21:00)
*Sat 21 Feb (09:00 - 18H00)

| Expo 2009 |
The Expo will be held at the College of Cape Town concurrently with the registration of walkers from 19-21 Feb 2009. The Expo will be an attraction which comprises the promotion of goods and services of sponsors and other exibitors.

| Refreshment Stations/Finish |
Four refreshment stations will be provided at the 2, 4, 6, and 8km marks. Jive and Polar Ice Cream will be given to all finishers.

| Medical Facilities |
Professional medical supporting service will be provided by Vincent Pallotti Hospital and qualified volunteers
|

| Medals |
Medals will be awarded to all finishers.

| Rules |
- The race number must be pinned to the front of your clothes.
- Public must obey all marshals and traffic officials at all times.
- The 10km Big Walk is held under the guidance of Western Province Athletics.
- The 10km Big Walk Committee reserves the right to cancel the event if the Committee, in its sole discretion, decides that for reasons in the interest of the public, it is necessary to do so.

| Anti-Litter Rule |
Litter bins will be placed at each kilometre mark and near the refreshment stations. Please place your water sachets and all other litter in these bins.
