To reach the start, follow boards from Kroomboom Road off-ramp from the M5(See Map)
Tog bag facilities will be available
Refreshments will be on sale at the start and finish
Pace-Setters will be provide for the Half Marathon (2hours. 2hours 30)
Although there is no seperate "Walkers" category social walkers are welcome for both the Half Marathon and the Fun Run
Medals will be awarded to all finishers within cut-off times in the half marathon and the 6km fun run
Prize-giving will start at 09H00
There will be numerous lucky draws prizes. Winners must be present to claim them
Results will be posted to all clubs
A voluntary donation in aid of the Red Cross children's Hospital Trust would be appreciated
Regrettably the Half Marathon is not suitable for wheelchairs
Refreshment stations will be provided at approximately 3km intervals

The event is held under the auspices of ASA and WPA
Age limit: Half Marathon 16 years or older on the day. 6km Fun Run 9 years or older on the day
Half Marathon athletes Must wear club colours with a 2009 licence number on the back and the official race number on the front
Half marathon athletes with temporary licences Must wear plain clothing with the race number on the front and the temporary licence number on the back
Race numbers and entry cards Must de worn from start to finish
In addition to overall (open) prizes, a participant will only be eligible for an age category prize in the age category he/she enters. A participant may enter an age category corresponding to his / her actual age or any younger category (down to senior). Age category tags must be worn on the vest's front and back
Participants with temporary licences are eligible for age category prizes, provide they enter the relevantage group, and wear the appropriate age tags and provide proof of age
Juniors (born 1990 or later) wearing a junior or senior licence must display age tags to qualify foe age group prizes. Juniors can count towards Open team prizes
Proof of age must be presented on request
All marshals and traffic officials must be obeyed. Failure to comply will lead to disqualification
No seconding will be allowed
Club colours must be worn to qualify for team prizes
