- Refreshment stations will provide Coke and Purified Water sachets.
- 50km every 3km for 1st half and every 2.5km for 2nd half of route; and 21.1km every 3km.

The Start:
- 50km at the Municipal Offices, Wanderers Ave, Middelburg @06H00.
- 21.1km at Loskop Dam Nature Reserve @ 06:30
- Secure parking & free coffee from 04h30 on race day at both START venues.
- Pasta R35 per person at the 50km Start from 17h00 on 16 April 2010 and pasta buffet at R65 pp at Forever Resorts Loskoppdam Restuarant. Beer Garden available.
- Only official vehicles/bicycles will be allowed on both routes.
The Finish:
- The 50km and 21.1km races will both finish at Forever Resorts Loskop Dam.
- Free entry voucher to Loskop Dam, will be attached to your race number (a maximum of three persons per voucher). Entry to the Resort prior to collection of race number or entry voucher can be obtained by full payment (spectator fee) which will be refunded on presentation of proof of payment PLUS entry voucher.
- Only runners wearing official race numbers clearly visible on their club vest will be allowed to enter the grounds and complete the race.
Prize Giving:
- Trophies, gold medals and other prizes will be awarded after the race. Prize giving will take place at the Old Swimming Pool at the Finish.
- Prize giving times: 21.1km - 11h30: 50km - 13h00
Tog Bags:
Transport for tog bags will be available from the START of the 50km in Middelburg to Forever Resorts Loskop Dam - at owners risk.

Bus Transport:
- Pre-booked and Pre-paid ONLY.
- Buses will be provided to the 50km START in Middelburg on 17 April 2010 from the Loskop Dam Reception, Buses will depart stricitly from 04:00 - 04h45. 750 tickets available one per athlete. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis to athletes ONLY.
- Buses will also return to Middelburg after the prize giving. (Only 750 tickets available).
- Bus tickets must be booked with entry fee, at a cost of R41.00 per ticket - NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ON RACE DAY.
- A free shuttle service for the 21.1km will be provided from outside the Resort Entrance to the start at the Nature Reserve - before and after the race.
Goodie Bag:
Goodie Bags and Race T-Shirts will be availiable to participating Athletes at the finish line of both races. The goodie bag includes the traditional, collectable stainless steel tossing coin and other exciting items.
Finishing Athletes will also receive oranges with compliments of Schoeman Boerdery
Forever resorts Loskop Series Charity:
- The 21.1km Wild Challenge will be run through the Loskop Dam Nature Reserve, the beneficiary of the charitable contributions from the athletes and the anchor sponsor, Forever Resorts SA.
- The sponsors of the Loskop Marathon support Friends of Loskop. We appeal to participants and sponsors to make a contribution, large or small, to this organisation.
Friends of Loskop, a non-profit organisation, assits the Mpumalanga Parks Board to preserve the Loskop Dam Nature Reserve for the benefit of future generations.
Fun Run:
Will take place on Friday, 16 April 2010. The Fun Run will start at the Middelburg Municipality at 18h30.

| Rules |
- 2010 Licence number must be worn on the back of your vest and race number on the front of your vest.
- Official Loskop Timing Chip Must be attached behind Official Race Number. NO CHIP NO RESULT!
- Licensed runners must wear club colours; other runners should be neatly dressed in accordance with accepted athletic norms.
- To prevent disqualification, obey all Marshals and traffic officers/officials.
- Only athletes as defined by ASA rules:
- 21.1km minimum age is 16yrs of age on race day;
- 50km minimum age is 20yrs of age or older on race day.
- Identification and PROOF of age must be provided on request on race day.
- Athletes competing for category prizes must wear age category tags on both the front and back of their vests. They must complete the race within 5H3050km
- 21.1km time limit is 4hrs 00mins.
- 50km time limit is 6hrs 30mins.
- 50km Cut off times : 25km - 3hrs 25mins; 36km - 4hrs 52mins; 42km - 5hrs 40mins.
- No seconds allowed.
- The judges decision is final.
- Run under the rules of ASA and Athletics Mpumalanga.
- Walkers may participate with no additional time allowed. Cut off times as above will apply.
- No race numbers will be posted.
