| Route Description |
This is a scenic mountain race. We start from Bergsig High School and run towards the mountain which allows the runner to settle before you take-on the mighty Magaliesberg mountain
We run through the Kgaswane Mountain Reserve where a variety of birds and animals can be seen. From there it is a fast downhill as you come off the mountain returning to Bergsig High School

| Rules |
1. The race is organised by Rustenburg Marathon Club under the rules of Athletics South Africa (ASA) and (ANWN)
2. Only athletes as defined under the rules of ASA and 16 years or older on the day of the race may take part
3. Club colours and 2010 licence number must be worn on the back and with the race number on the front of the vest
4. Temporary licence numbers will be available
5. No seconding permitted. Refreshment stations approximately every 3km
6. All category winners must wear the applicable id tag. Proof of age required
7. Event race numbers to be worn on the chest, clearly visible, and licence or temporary licence numbers to be worn on the back
8. Athletes must obey the instructions of traffic officials and marshals Failure to do so could result in disqualification
9. Cut-off time is at 11h00 and no correspondence will be entered into
10. Any disputes to be directed to the race director, in writing, after the prize-giving. The decision of the race director is final and no correspondence will be entered into
