| General Information |
1. Number collection: From 16h00-20h00 on Friday, July 30, 2010 and from 05h30-07h30 on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at PPC Cement Riebeeck, Riebeeck West
2. Receipt of entry will be confirmed
3. A Race photographer will be available. Please tear off chevron strip on your race number if you require a photograph
4. Athletes will not be allowed to switch races or participate using another athlete's offical race number after closing date
5. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
6. All results can be found on www.championchip.co.za as well as on www.ppc.co.za
7. Cut off Times are as follows:
A) 42.2km: 5hours (2 1/2 hours at halfway mark)
B) 21.1km: 4hours
C) 10km: 2 1/2 hours
8. Athletes should bring their own safety pins

10. Toilets and showers will be available
11. Prizegiving will be held at 10h30-Fun Run, 11H00-10km Races, 12h00-Half Marathon, 12H30-Marathon
12. Entrants belonging to a registered ASA club must run in club colours
Entrants under the age of 16yrs may not enter the half marathon
13. PPC Riebeeck Bergmarathon race numbers should be displayed on the front of participant's shirt or vest
14. 2010 licence or temporary licence number should be displayed on the back of participants vest
15. Entrants under the age of 16yrs may not enter the half marathon
16. Minimum age for the full marathon is 20yrs
17. No pacing and seconding will be allowed
18. Category Tags must be worn on front and back of shirt or vest to qualify for a category Prize
19. Run under the rules of Athletics South Africa and Boland Athletics

Gold - First 10 Men & Women including category winners
Silver - Position 11 - 110 (Except Gold Winners)
Bronze - Awarded to all remaining Athletes in each race, who finish within cut off time
5km Fun Run - Medals awarded to first 300 finishers and spot prizes up for grabs

To ensure that you are accurately recorded in the race results, it is important that your ChampionChip is correctly registered in your name.
