| Race Rules & Information |
1. The Womens Day Challenge 10km is open to all runners/walkers of 15 years and older
2. The 5km is open to all runners/walkers over the age of 9 years (unless accompanied by parents)
3. Mums with prams and toddlers are welcome
4. Prams to start at the back of the field for safey reasons
5. You must register at the Sportsmans Warehouse store as you indicated on your entry form
6. A route map of the course and the parking areas will be displayed at registration at Sportsman Warehouse Stores
7. Licenced runners must wear club colours
8. Closing date for entries is midnight 1st August
9. All participants in the 10km Womens Day Challenge race must wear a race number on their chest and either a 2010 licensce number for club members or a temporary licence number for non club members
9. Those running the Womens Day Challenge 5km must wear their Womens Day Challenge race number on their chests
10. All entrants crossing the finish line will receive a race medal
11. Only entrants at prize giving will be eligible to win lucky draw prizes. MEN ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANY PRIZES
12. All entrants crossing the finish line will receive a goody bag
13. The first 4500 PRE ENTRIES will receive a unique Race T-Shirt
14. In addition to overall (open) prizes, participants will only be eligible for an age category prize in the age category they enter. Corresponding numerical age tags must be worn on the front and back of their club vests
15. Participants may enter the age category corresponding to their chronological age or any youngercategory down to senior
16. Temporary licensed participants are eligible for age category prizes provided they enter the relevant age group, wear the appropriate age tags and provide proof of age
17. Juniors (born 1991 or later) wearing a junior or senior licence must display age tags front and back to qualify for age group prizes
18. There is no time limit
19. Prize giving will commence at 10:00 and only those attending will be eligible for the lucky draws on offer
20. Men are encouraged to display their feminine side. Cross dressing is most welcome
21. No seconding is allowed and runners must obey all marshalls and traffic officers
22. Number collection for entries will be on Friday 6 August from 12h00-17h00 and Saturday 7th August from 09h00 - 17h00 at the Sportsman Warehouse Stores:
*Tygervalley, *Rondebosch, *Tokai and Canal Walk
23.There will be an identical start and finish for the 5km and 10km races and the start time will be 08h00
24. Entry fees will not be refunded unless the entry is rejected by the organisers
25. Tog bag facilities are available at your own risk
