| Race Description |
The Classic will start of on the same route as the Intermediate race, however to ensure there are no bottlenecks the Intermediate riders will go off 5 minutes after the last Classic rider has crossed the start line. The first 10kms of the route will provide ample space for riders to pass one another thus allowing the field sufficient time to sort themselves out before any technical or single track is encountered. Marshalls will be out on the course to ensure riders stick to the demarcated route and to assist should riders experience any difficulties during the race
In addition to the marshals, the course will have clear markings to ensure a free flowing race (direction, distance to water point, distance to finish, descents, etc)

| Race Directors Note |
While this is the inaugural race, we have leveraged our previous race experiences and in so doing hope to ensure a top class event from the outset. By this we simply mean we have tried to eliminate our pet hates and in so doing hopefully yours as well
The route has been planned to encompass that which most MTB riders seek, single track, jeep track, technical ascents and descents in a remote location that offers something different. Added to this we have tried to ensure that families supporting their wives, husbands or children will be able enjoy the outing
Tar - A word best forgotten when you get off the main road entering the race venue. We have ensured this dirty thing will not touch your bike's tyres for the duration of the race
