| Rules |
1. The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and CGA. Athletes indemnify the national, provincial and regional bodies, sponsors and organisers of the race against any or all actions of whatsoever nature, whatever the same maybe arising out of their participation in the race
2. Runners participate at their own risk
3. Registered athletes must belong to a club affiliated to ASA, must wear club colours and their 2010 licence on the back of their vest. All runners must wear their issued race number on the front of their vest
4. No runner under the age of 15 years on the day will be allowed to enter the 10km
5. No runner under the age of 16 years on the day will be allowed to enter the 21,1km
6. All licenced athletes competing for category prizes must wear numeric category tags clearly visible back and front. Proof of age for prize winners will be required and be presented to the referees before prizegiving. Prizes will be withheld until confirmed
7. No seconding allowed on the route. Ample refreshment stations are provided
8. All traffic officers and marshalls instructions must be obeyed
9. No blades, cyclists or mechanically operated devices allowed in the race.
10. Regretfully due to the nature of the course no wheelchair athletes allowed
11. Temporary licenced athletes must wear plain clothing and the issued temp licence on the back of their vests and
the issued race number in front. No advertising allowed
12. Regret, athletes not allowed to participate with pets
13. International athletes must provide a clearance letter to the referee in the event of them winning a prize
14. Athletes are only eligible for prizes if their tear-off slip is filled in comprehensively
