| Rules & General Information |
1. Medals will be awarded to all finishers within the cut off time
2. Prize giving will start at 12H15 and all prize winners must be present at the prize giving ceremony to collect their prizes. Failure to comply, will automatically forfeit their prize
3. Results will be posted to all clubs
4. Refreshment stations will be available at, approximately 3km intervals
5. Participants with temporary licences are eligible for age category prizes, provided they enter the relevant age group and wear the appropriate age tags and provide proof of identity
6. An athlete is not eligible for a prize in more than one category,ie. an athlete is only eligible for a prize in the age category applicable to him/her or the younger category chosen by him /her provided he/she is wearing the relevant age category tag
7. The race organisers reserve the right to accept or reject any entry. No private vehicles will be allowed at the start or along the route
8. The event is held under the auspices of ASA and ASWD
9. Athletes must wear their club colours with 2010 licence numbers on the back and the race number on the front
10. Temporary licence runners must wear their temporary number on the front
11. No seconding will be allowed
12. All international athletes must apply for clearances from ASA and proof of clearances must be attached to entry forms
13. All traffic officers and marshals must be obeyed. Failure will lead to disqualification
14. No earphones animals or racers (push-cart / buggy) allowed
15. No changing from the full marathon to the half marathon or 10km

| Tog Bags |
Your tog bag will be marked with a special numbered label and you will receive a corresponding numbered receipt
Store it safely on your person
Tog bags must be collected before 14:00 or they will be treated as lost property. However, runners are advised not, to leave expensive or valuable items in their bags, as the organisers cannot accept responsibility for any losses
Tog bags are stored in the Tog Bag facility at the bag owner's risk

| Drug Testing |
Random drug testing, under the auspices of the institutes for Drug Free Sport will be conducted. Officials will be on hand to escort them to the Drug Control Center. It is a violation of the doping rule for an athlete to fail, or refuse to submit to doping control after having been requested to do so by the responsible official
Prize money will only be paid out after the result of drug tests have been received. It is the responsibility of the athlete to ensure that any Therapeutic Use Exemption form has been properly lodged with the authorities before the race
