| Race Rules |
1. The race is run in accordance with the rules of ASA and CGA
2. Athletes indemnify the national, provincial and regional bodies, sponsors and organisers of the race against any or all whatsoever nature, whatever the same may be arising of their participation
in the race
3. Registered athletes must wear their 2010 license numbers back and front
4. The issued race number must be worn on the front of the vest. R5.00 from every paid entry will be donated to our charity
5. All licensed athletes competing for category prizes must wear numeric category tags, clearly visible back and front
6. Proof of age for prize winners will be required and is to be presented to the referees before prize giving
7. Only athletes who have filled in their race sticker comprehensively are eligible for prizes
8. Prizes will be withheld until confirmed
9. No seconding is allowed
10. International athletes must provide a clearance letter to the referee in the event of them winning a prize
11. No 2, 3 or 4 wheel carts / prams which are mechanically or manually operated by participants will be permitted to participate without the special permission of the race organisers and traffic authorities
12. Minimum age: 15 yrs - 10km, 16 yrs - 21km
13. Temporary licensed athletes are eligible for open and category prizes, provided they have age category tags clearly visible back and front
14. All traffic officers and race officials instructions to be obeyed
15. Walkers competing for category prizes must wear short pants and W tags clearly visible back and front
16. No refunds
