1. Organised in accordance with the rules of ASA and BA
2. Competitors must run in club colours with 2010 licence number for 21.1km
3. Entry fees are not refundable unless entry is rejected by the organisers
4. Check-in at Hermanus High School on Saturday morning 5H30 - 06H45
5. Starting time: 07H00 (21.1km) and 07H15 (6km) at Hermanus High School
6. Refreshment stations stocked with: Water and Coke
7. Prize giving will take place after the race, 09:30
8. Temporary licences will be available at R20,00
9. Cut-off time: 21,1km 10:00 and 6km 08:45 (walkers welcome)
10. Late entries will be accepted on the day of the race between 5:30 and 6:45
11. Athletes must be 16 years to enter for the half marathon

| The Hermanus Whale Festival |

The Hermanus Whale Festival celebrating its 19th year as the only enviro-arts festival in South Africa,"puts the creatures of the deep on stage and under the spotlight alongside top performers and musicians from 24 to 28 September
Hermanus, known as the best land-based whale watching destination in the world, plays host to
thousands of visitors who flock to the seaside resort to exhilarate in the unique natural environment,
watch the whales and revel in music, comedy and African rhythms during the festival
The Whales are always the star performers at the festival and will be joined on land by great food, quality
crafters, sport events, kids entertainment and thousands of people celebrating Spring in the most
beautiful place on earth - Hermanus
The Festival is spreading its wings this year with the music,entertainment and Kids Morning Market moving to the Hemel & Aarde Village, which will also include some food stalls. Our Market Square crafts, food and entertainment will remain and the Whales & Wheels car show will take place on Saturday 25 September. The focus on our beautiful Southern Right whales will continue to be seen in Walker Bay all day long at the Whale House Museum. A variety of events to keep the whole family entertained
