Following the Matumi Trail which starts at the confluence of the Sabie, Mac Mac and Sabaan rivers it follows the Mac Mac through riverine forest and plantations up to the picnic site.
Turning back down the opposite bank it winds back towards the start. To make up the distance forestry roads will be followed past spectacular view of the Sabie River valley

This is a senic run following the Matumi trail like the 20+km route without the loop around to the Sabie River valley.

This is a moderate jeep track and single track. Following forestry roads there are a few short steep climbs. Once you reach the top there is a fast semi-technincal path taking you past a spectacular view of the Sabie River cascading over the granite hills. There will be one aid station on the route
