Race numbers will not be posted to athletes.

Athletes can collect race numbers:
1. On Tuesday 12 March 2013 at Runaway Sports, Glenfair Centre, Pretoria from 12h00 to 16h00.
2. On Wednesday 13 March 2013 at The Sweat Shop, Dunkeld West Centre, Johannesburg from 12h00 to 16h00.
3. On Friday from 12h00 to 21h00 at the Old Mutual Om Die Dam venue in Hartbeespoort.
4. On Saturday morning from 04h30 at the start in Hartbeespoort.

Athletes must bring the copy of on-line entry confirmation with them when collecting their numbers at any venue and date mentioned.

Race Day Entries:
ONLY 21.1 km, 10 km and 5 km athletes can enter on race day.
No t-shirts will be handed out for 21.1 km athletes that enter on race day.
To avoid disappointment and congestion these athletes should come and enter very early.
Entries will be taken in area next to the start.

Temporary Licences

Athletes who do not belong to clubs must obtain their temporary licenses from the organizers at all the major races or at the starting point on the day of the race. Temporary license must be worn on the back of the shirt.

The official entries for the 50 km CLOSES on 3 March 2013 at all the outlets thus on-line, shops and at races.

21.1 km Entry information
• Entries will be taken at the Om Die Dam office till Friday 15 March 2013.
• Athletes can also enter on the morning of the race at the event.
• Note that athletes that enter after 3 March 2013 will not receive a T-shirt on race day.

10 km & 5 km Entry Information

Club Tents

Access to the premises to offload club tents will only be allowed on Friday 15 March 2013. No entrance by car will be permitted on the morning of the race. Camping on School premises is prohibited.

1. Athletes run under the rules of Athletics South Africa (ASA) and ANWN.
2. Athletes must wear their official club colours. Temporary numbers will be issued to athletes not yet registered with a club.
3. All athletes must wear the official race number on the front of their vest. Neglecting to adhere to this rule will lead to immediate disqualification.
4. Referees, marshals and traffic officials must be obeyed at all times. Failure to comply with their instructions will lead to immediate disqualification.
5. All runners participate at their own risk and the organisers and sponsors will not be held responsible for any injury, illness or accidents occurring during or as a result of the race.
6. Please make use of the toilets that will be provided. Refrain from fouling public or private property. This bad habit could jeopardise future races. Please obey this request.
7. Kindly help the traffic officials and marshals by following instructions during the early morning parking arrangements.
8. All ultra marathon participants who have not reached the 25 km mark within three and a half hours (09h30) and the 42.2 km mark within 6 hours (12h00) must retire from the race. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.
9. The official cut-off time to qualify for Comrades is 6 hours and for the OM DIE DAM permanent number 7 hours.
* The race will officially close after 7 hours.
10. Age category tags must be worn (front and back) by athletes competing for a category prize. Proof of age to be produced upon request on race day.
11. No advertising in any form may be displayed by competitors except that of the official sponsors.
12. The tradition of awarding permanent numbers to runners finishing their tenth race will be maintained. This number, once awarded, remains the runner's permanent number. Please read instructions to enter.
13. Seconding and escorting is strictly prohibited. No accompanying cars, bicycles or dogs will be permitted. This rule must be strictly adhered to. Failure to do so will lead to the athlete's immediate disqualification.

Release And Waiver

 In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I for myself, my executors, heirs, administrators and assigns, do hereby release and discharge the Old Mutual OM DIE DAM, any and all sponsors, any and all volunteer groups, all medical personnel, any and all local authorities from all claims for injuries, damage or property loss I may suffer caused by the negligence of any of them and arising out of my participation in this event, including pre- and post race activities. I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this ultra event and assume all risks for such participation. I accept all rules, conditions and regulations which include the terms of payment of the entry fee and will comply with them. I undertake not to exhibit or wear any advertising material or logos contrary to the rules of ASA or IAAF
