Rules • Race will be held under the rules of Athletics South Africa and Central Gauteng Athletics • Runners and walkers participate under their own risk. • Temporary Licenses will be on sale - additional R75 for 21.1km and R64 for 10km. • Registered athletes must be a member of a club affiliated to ASA and wear club colours and a 2023 license number on the front of the vest. • Athletes must be at least 15 years or older on the day of the race to enter for 10km and 21km there is no age restriction for 5km fun run walk. • Numerical age category ID tags must be worn on the back and the front of the athlete competing for a category prize. • Proof of age must be provide to race officials on the day of the race if required. • Athletes will be eligible to win open prize plus a prize for the age category that they will be participation in. • No athlete can qualify for any prizes unless wearing a license or a temporary license. • International athletes must provide a clearance letter from their country of origin to the referee in the event of their winning prize. • Athletes only eligible for prize if they fill in the race sticker comprehensively. • The pictures taken at the Kagiso Striders Youth Month Race may be for marketing purposes.
